Artist Linda Pongutá won, alongside William Contreras, apexart's Open Call with project NULL.
"In the center of the Colombian capital, the TELECOM building was previously a symbol of progress and prosperity is now abandoned. The project consists in summoning 15 artists to take over the 14 floors of offices and the terrace of the building. Each artist will intervene their assigned space with the elements that are already in place and formulate an artistic reflection on this site, working on various techniques such as installation, video, performance, sculpture, drawing and sound art.
Apexart is an educational arts institution that has served as an important incubator for curators and creatives for almost 30 years. Open Calls are opportunities for artists, curators, and other professionals to turn their curatorial idea into an apexart exhibition."
